John M. Seeley Consulting was formed in 2008 by John M. Seeley, Ph.D, to provide comprehensive and turnkey geoinformatic solutions to the geologic, hydrogeologic, and water resources communities. I have over 20 years of experience in the geosciences field, with emphasis in geoinformatics, geologic remote sensing, and geographic information systems (GIS) science. My geologic specialties include sedimentology, depositional environments, stratigraphy, geology of uranium (exploration and production), water resources, aquifer recharge, potential field geophysics, tectonics, geologic mapping, and geologic assessment.

I offer a broad range of practical geologic, geophysical, and other geo-related solutions to the geosciences community, particularly those involved with the mining and oil and gas industries. I also specialize in the integration of standard geo-data with information systems sciences to solve complex geoscience problems where a spatial component is required. Most geo-data is spatially related in some way, and is extremely well suited to integration into a geographic information system, or GIS. When properly integrated, new insights and new interpretations of the data can easily be developed through GIS-based integration and analysis.
